Job sites across the country are facing the impact of bias-motivated graffiti. The incidents range from racial slurs to sexist biases to threats against specific populations. These acts are concerning and cause companies significant losses in time and money because job sites often close while the incidents are investigated. Most of these acts of vandalism occur in areas of low public visibility, such as restroom facilities.
Upon hearing this problem repeatedly from our customers and seeing the toll it was taking on job sites around the nation, we began exploring solutions utilizing the resources and products we currently provide. Portable Solutions Group (PSG) uses modified shipping containers to address security, convenience, mobility, and customization issues. For over 20 years, PSG has solved many complex customer problems through various product designs.
Our Modular Access Control (MAC) product line is a patented line of turnstile units that provide job sites with security by using access control to monitor those entering and exiting the area. These units can be as small as 10 feet or as large as 40 feet, depending on the customer’s needs and the workforce’s size for the specific project.
Our DropBox product line transforms shipping containers into modular labs, blast-resistant offices, restrooms, and much more. These units, like the MAC units, are customizable based on the needs of the customer and the project at hand.
With these two areas of expertise in mind, we invented an access-controlled restroom unit. This unit requires badge entry into the unit, keeping track of who enters and exits each stall. The unit has eight individual stalls, each equipped with a toilet, sink, instant water heater, soap dispensers, hand air dryers, and a mirror. It is self-contained and temperature controlled for comfortable use no matter the season.
Check out this video to see all this self-contained, access-controlled restroom has to offer.
This product is patent pending.
